Online lessons are the perfect way to save time and keep costs down. You don’t have to pay a transportation fee and you can take lessons wherever you have an internet connection. There is no need to purchase a textbook if you don’t want to. We will work from google docs and I will take notes for you. You will do your homework on the google docs, too. That way, you have a record that you can refer to any time you want to review what we have learned so far. If you are shy, there is no need to show your face. You can keep your camera off and view my camera during the lessons. As long as you can view the google docs that I will share with you, we can have the lesson. This is perfect for people who are shy or didn't have time to fix your hair or make up, sick, etc, during the scheduled lesson time.
During the first lesson, we will introduce ourselves and get to know each other. During this time, I will be giving you an oral placement test so that I can better access your English level. After that, I will give you a short lesson so that you can see what our lessons will be like. After the lesson, I will tell you what book we will work from, as well as give you a recommended study plan. You can choose from English lessons, Business English lessons, conversation lessons where we will talk about a topic (you can bring your own topic or I will let you choose from a list of topics), or newspaper article lessons. You can even choose from a combination, depending on your mood.
My personality is very energetic and fun, but I am quite strict. Our lessons won’t just be us talking. I will correct you when you make mistakes and teach you the correct way to say what you want to convey. I will also push you if I think that you can do more and use more advanced English. I will also correct pronunciation mistakes. I want my students to be able to be understood by English speakers all over the world, so please understand.
I have taught English in Japan with popular man to man english schools as well as international schools, so I am aware of the common mistakes that Japanese speakers have when speaking and pronouncing English. I have worked in the government in an engineering command doing financial management and computer systems, so I am sure that I can help you with your business English, as well as western business culture. I also have many hobbies, such as crochet, hip hop dance, movies, karaoke, nail art, and I want to know more about you and your daily life, hobbies etc. I am sure we will have plenty to talk about and learn from one another.
